Stewart Dempsey, President of Walnut Hill Ltd, is a regular contributor to many local publications including The Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel and Milwaukee Home magazine. He is currently working on several book projects designed to help people live today more fully by redesigning their immediate environments. He has won numerous awards for his work, including two historic preservation awards and the Mayor's Landscape Award. Additionally, his work has appeared in numerous national publications such as Better Homes and Gardens, Old House Interiors, The American Gardener, as well as several books.

Mr. Dempsey is eager to share his knowledge and experience with his clients. He regularly teaches courses for Milwaukee Public Schools Adult Enrichment in horticulture and interior finishes/design. He is available to Garden clubs and other social groups for informal talks or lectures on specific subjects. Mr. Dempsey is a member of the Garden Writer's Association.
